Follow @sweetlifeofafoodie on Instagram! : Eat with me! : <br/ <br/ We came to this much recommended place on the streets of Old Ahmedabad. It's a lovely locality, a little lost behind in time. It felt like taking a trip into the lanes of the forgotten, being surrounded with brightly light small shops and sudden dark alleys. The food was what made us walk around and explore, and we weren't disappointed! .<br/ MUTTON CHAAP<br/ A favorite at this small shack, it was lovely and soft mutton pieces that were nothing short of a burst of flavour in your mouth. Usually finding places that know how to cook mutton just right, not the general over cooked meat, is quite something in itself. This place served beautiful meat that was packed with flavour. We got a lot of requests that day to bring some back for the others, but we should have gotten some for ourselves as well, because we realised that we wanted more as soon as we left. <br/ .<br/ Foodie tip: Order two plates, not just one. You'll know what we're talking about when you order the first plate. Also make sure you explore Manek Chowk after this meal, for some good dessert to finish up. .<br/ Follow @sweetlifeofafoodie to know the best food around you! <br/ .<br/ .<br/ #muttonchop #indianfoodtales #love #foodporn #spicyfoodporn #eat #eatout #eateateat #eatguide #ahmedabad #ahmedabadfood #ahmedabadfoodblogger #ahmedabaddiaries #chennai #chennaifoodblogger #nyceats #nyceatstagram #vscofood #vscofoodporn #walkwithindia #foodtalkindia #foodtalkahmedabad #foodtalkchennai #eatalwaysgood
ZK has always been my favourite, whether its ZK fry or ZK Hotel, both are awesome and has attractive varieties.<br/ I have been visiting this place with my family from years.<br/ <br/ Must Try Items:<br/ <br/ Bheja Fry<br/ Chaamp Fry<br/ Gurda Fry<br/ Bombay Chaamp<br/ Darbaari<br/ Kheema Kheechdi
One of the best non vegetarian food in Ahmedabad. I love their mutton chap fry and chicken fry. One must try those. I'll be honest, the ambience is not very friendly neither the service, then again, who cares? At least I don't! (but my girl friend does, obviously :p)You'll experience a very bad smell of dried fish just before you reach the shop. But, trust me, the smell disappears when you reach the shop and more importantly, after you experience the food that they serve you, you'll definetely forget everything about thay odor.
Incredible food, lovely non veg dishes, their speciality mutton fry is off the hook. if you don't care about the ambience this is the best place to go
