Dave's Hawaiian Ice Cream - Aiea

I rated this place 4.5 stars mainly because the ice creams were just average. However, the customer service was outstanding, and there are plenty of options for frozen treats beyond just ice cream. I would definitely return!

This place is great. You can't be on Oahu for a longer time and not finally on Dave's local Hawaiian ice cream. The service was amazing and there is a ton of local flavors. I have a Hawaiian mudcake shaker that is basically just a coffee ice cream with cookies and cream. Had an amazing experience and I will definitely be back. They also give a 10% military discount!

Fantastic service! We ordered ice cream and shaved ice as our final treat before heading to the airport. It was definitely a worthwhile stop before leaving Hawaii…

Great creamy ice cream with quality ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised by the large amount of macadamia nuts in the caramel macadamia ice cream! They also serve shave ice and halo halo. Pleasant staff, too.

This was my first shave ice experience since moving to Hawaii. I was surprised by the texture of the ice, but the flavor and creaminess of the vanilla ice cream were exceptional – the best I've ever had!
