Le Skanapia - Aime

I'm really not sure where I start this review. after the arrival for an evening meal with a group of six of us were greeted by loudly distorted music and bright lights and an ambiente, not completely different from the bus stop waiting rooms, such as...a alpendorf restaurant. While they might say well, maybe they should go, I had booked and we were hungry. the order was chaotic and the confused host was not able to get his attention to taking order beyond a drink per person before distracted by phone calls and who knows what. Once we went with the food order, he could not give us any suggestions to which fondue would be suitable for a total of six. When the fondue arrived, my daughter came into a piece of bread that she immediately unpacked as it tasted strange. she immediately noticed that it was covered with mold. the other broth pieces were inspected, and we found that they were two in shape covered. When I was scared with the wet, I got a gallic shrug and I've been working here for 13 years and with fondue you don't get a fresh brot. I should have said at this point that we pay and go for the drinks. I'm not sure why not. Maybe I just didn't want to confront the children. we found some edible pieces of bread among all pieces and dug by what can only be described a very average, not very cheesy cheese fondue. the rest of the evening was filled with basil fawltyesque komödie, when the host crawled around the room and constantly returned dirty cute when other guests came. we will return to montalbert. only not skankypia.

We arrived late to Le Snakapia and were not turned away despite being very busy. Met by a very friendly and warm waitress (who we assumed was the owner who quickly laid our table and offered us drink. 2 carafes of lovely house rose and...some incredible tartaflette, beef skewers and a Montalbert (breaded fried cheese on chips with meats...! and we were extremely full and happy. Wonderful place to feel welcome and enjoy some delicious local food. The portions are huge but if you want to indulge, this is the place!

The place to go in Montalbert to celebrate the New Year. The restaurant was full of locals and tourists, and very welcoming to both. Very good set menu of local food, with drinks included, and disco from midnight. A very enjoyable and memorable experience.

Nous y avons dîné un vendredi soir d'août. Peu de resto ouverts après 21h30, les patrons ont acceptés de nous servir malgré notre arrivée tardive (merci encore!). Le cadre est convivial, on s'y sent bien, les patrons sont très sympas ! Les assiettes arrivent vite, et chaudes. C'est généreux et bon ! Bref que dire de plus à part que nous n'hésiterons pas une seconde à revenir dans ce bel endroit. (Pour info : nous nous étions laissés tenter par des burgers maison). Petit plus : coup de cloche assuré à tout ceux qui laissent une petite pièce (merciiii !!!). ;)

Super soirée au skanapia. Patrons super. Accueil chaleureux. Plats très copieux et délicieux. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
