La Marina Italian Restaurant Bar

We visited this restaurant for a light lunch since we were staying at the Boathouse Apartments. The service was a bit slow, and the atmosphere wasn't as warm or friendly as you might find in most places in Airlie Beach. However, we were not disappointed by the food—it was very tasty Italian cuisine. We ordered the seafood risotto, Nonna's meatballs, and bruschetta, all of which were delicious. Despite the service, we would definitely return.

The dishes are made with the freshest ingredients, making them incredibly delicious. I enjoyed every bite!

Disappointing. Not much salad options, mine was out of date, too onion infused. Tomato sauces were too overpowering, maybe too much tomato paste? Great location but

We are regular diners here but last Friday's experience was very disappointing. The wait time to check in was long, only one man doing that. The table service was lacking. We had to ask for simple things like cutlery, side plates etc. Things that should be already presented. Not to mention the onsite mobile phone that was constantly ringing at it's highest volume which was really annoying. I know businesses are struggling to get staff but there seemed to be plenty there with no idea of how to maintain a level of customer service. I hope that they start to get the little things right. It would be nice to go back and have a more pleasant experience.
