Fanny's cafe - Aix-en-Provence

Petit déjeuner en groupe. Service au compte goutte. Serveuse seule. Mal organisé. Salle pas très propre. Déçu.

Partie boire un café entre copines, très bien, nous ne sommes pas restées longtemps car nous étions pressées mais ce café est bien situé

Très bonne brasserie , personnel très accueillant , jolie cadre et avec un excellent rapport qualité prix

My husband and I stopped off here for a coffee and snack. We were told by the server that they are not serving hot drinks anymore ( it was 330pm!) I headed to the rest rooms while my husband checked out the menu to decide what we wanted to order and was stopped by the barman who demanded ( pointing rudely at me) what I was drinking -refusing to let me pass to use the rest room until I had done so. I explained my husband was sitting waiting to order and he again pointed as me and rudely demanded ' what are YOU drinking ?' At that point, I told him not to worry, we would go elsewhere and promptly left. It really left a sour taste at the end of a beautiful day in Aix en Provence. Ironically we had earlier been commenting how the French get a bad rap for being rude as everyone had been so lovely and friendly to us. If they want to encourage tourists, then I suggest they don't send them to Cafe Fanny !!
