Pizzeria Marco - Aix-en-Provence

Staying at the nearby Novotel and determined not to eat there, this small fast food 'restaurant ' was recommended by our rep. We tried it on our last day and the service was faultless and friendly and the pizzas pretty good.

We were on a Riviera Travel holiday and staying at the Novotel Aix en Provence Beaumanoir Les 3 Sautets. The hotel is located in an urbanisation which had a small row of shops, one of which was this pizzeria. After some tiring days, we could either eat at the hotel or go into Aix. Our tour manager mentioned this place which was a 5 minute walk from the hotel so we thought we'd give it a try, which we did twice. The tour manager actually ate there on the same nights as us. Because it's in a residential area dissected by a main bus route, it's quite busy outside and not the most attractive place we've ever eaten at a pavement table but the pizzas were very good. It seemed to attract many takeaway customers in our time there. I've marked it very good for its pizzas and NOT for the location.

Recensire questo locale è difficile. Servizio inesistente: ci hanno servito le pizze su un tavolo non apparecchiato, senza tovaglia, senza posate e senza bicchieri (le bibite si bevono direttamente dalla bottiglia!) in un ambiente poco pulito. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, buona l'insalata mentre le pizze appartengono all'improbabile gusto francese per il cibo italiano. Prezzi alti. Sconsigliato.

Good assortement of various dishes. The pizza was brilliant and the host most friendly. It was for some unknown reason not all dishes on the menu you could order. We had pizzas and they were good.
