L'ecuelle - Aix-les-Bains

I had been craving a burger for a while, so when I saw that they had them on the menu I decided to give it a shot. I was prepared to be disappointed with a small formed patty and a overly large and dry bun. I was wrong the burger was the best that I have had in months. Years, even! It was juicy and flavorful and the toppings (bacon, cheese and onions) made it a wonderfully delicious mess. My husband had the mussels and while he commented that they were a bit on the small side, they tasted good and it was a full bowl.

We had a dinner here with starter, main curse and dessert. All the food was really great. My beef tartare was a real experience. We’ve seen plates of other guests and they also looked amazing. Big portions for these prices.
