Feedback gevenWe are American citizens from puerto rico who speak French and are very sympathetic with corse people. this “chish” bar, which is expensive, belongs to a mister who has grilled us because they have not accepted the bank card, in this age in which most of us pay with him. He only told us at the end when we were ready to go. we have tried to find solutions, the owner gave us only lessons about what it is to travel to the European union. he was very nice first, then very mean when we tried to find solutions, as to talk to some customers to see if we could give them more in dollar than we actually had to pay. we understand his point, but the abominable way he feels is not a way to treat customers and less tourist. I would only recommend to the people to cash, and for those who have a masochistic tendency.
No bad place in the center of the city. adequate seating. toilet facilities are not very good. the prices are reasonable, but no great selection of items to order. the service was a little slow.
We were in ajaccio on a cruise and after the hoho bus tour looked for a place to lunch. this bar/café bar 1er consul (with green mark) was about a block from which the bus tour started/ended. with the outside and near the...Napoleon löwenstatue ende der place foch it was a good place to observe and drink people. we also had sandwiches of really good crust bread. I asked for scab on my ham cheese sandwich and it was really good. we looked at other restaurants, but couldn't read the menus, just like in French. there were also more tourist pizza restaurants closer to the harbour. the service was good and our server spoke something English, but the person who supplied the food did not. I didn't ask for s p, but fortunately my man knew the French words. good ice also, although there is an ice place near. the prices seemed appropriate.
Very good location for people who watch, but we had to wait a looung time to be served, new customers are served before us. we finally asked the waiter to come and then he was nice and polite. we enjoyed the rest of our time here. even the beginning of the parade in the hommage at napoleons imperial wake.
Stopped here for a beer whilst doing all of the Napoleon things in the city. Good quick service prices reasonable bearing in mind you are overlooking the Place De Fosch
