Le Doyenne Cafe-lounge - Ajain

Nikki is an excellent cook, her cakes are some of the best I tasted. our lunch was simply beautiful and with jacs attentive, but not intrusive service I can give only high praise for this restaurant.

We discovered this restaurant a year ago, but had no time to eat there. we wanted to go back and only reached it before 2 weeks. a delicious French lunch on the terrace that lasted about 2 hours. unhurried, excellent... prepared and served food and very cheap. hopefully, if I'm back next year, I'll be able to eat here again.

Very pleasant, eating was beautifully presented and was a joy to eat. beautiful atmosphere and service, although a little slow was friendly and very courteous. the menu was limited, but this has only improved the charm.

What a lovely surprise lunch. We had been searching for somewhere to eat on a Monday lunchtime in early September and found Le Doyenne tucked away on a back street. We sat outside in a shaded courtyard garden and were treated to a delicious lunch....Walking through the house to the courtyard was also a treat and made us want to return to book a room lovely and unusual decor.

A warm welcome, a nice shady exterior on a scorching hot day and excellent value for money. Between the five of us (which included one vegan) we must have selected most options on the menu and it was all beautifully presented. The food tasted as...good as it looked and the wine was fine too for house wine. Lovely afternoon and would definitely go back again.
