Our waiter was very friendly and went above and beyond for us. The food here is always amazing, a little pricey but worth it.

I went to Il Fornello with a large group for a rehearsal dinner, and it was delicious. This was my second time there, and I will definitely be back! Their espresso martini was amazing, and all the appetizers were great. I had the chicken parmesan, and it was a huge portion, and one of the best I've had. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!

We came here for a friend's surprise birthday. The party organizer called the restaurant ahead of time and got to come in early and have our little corner decorated. Always loved their warm house bread and butter and filling ourselves up. 2 of my favorite menu items that I have in the pictures below are the creamy gnocchi with spinach and crispy shallots and the funghi pizza. I always ask for the extra sauce to dip the bread in after and clean it up. Overall food was great and do check out their other menu items like the fungi pasta.Vegetarian options: I've been here when I was vegan. They have a nice vegan menu offered, and it wasn't that bad. They should definitely expand a bit to add more options into their pasta side.Parking: There is parking available as it is in the plaza. It's not really crowded, but there might be a small walk to the restaurant if anythingWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is located on the ground floor and there is wheelchair parking available.

I can't believe I haven't written a review of this restaurant yet! Love this restaurant for their pizza and pasta. It is one of the classier restaurants in Durham region. They have an expansive menu that fits everyones dietary preference (including plant-based). Servers are always friendly and they bring bread for the table as needed. The patio is nice in the summer time but the indoor dining is just as nice. They also have a $12 pizza and pasta menu Monday-Thursday. Have been here quite a few times!
