Kaffi Ilmur - Akureyri

Outstanding food and service. Very accommodating. Small family run. Chill comfortable vibe. Four of us ordered different dishes and each and every dish was fantastic.

Stopped here for a coffee and a warm on the most snowy day of our time in Akureyri. Really cosy place with a lovely warm welcome from the lady behind the counter. We ordered coffee, nothing else, until we saw some others with a slice of a meringue cake, we had some, it was delicious! It's not the cheapest place in Akureyri, but your tastebuds will love you forever.

Delicious coffee and homemade cakes. Very friendly staff. Cozy interior. What more can ask for. Don't look at the bill just enjoy.

We had a wonderful experience here, so much so that we got every single meal during our time in Akureyri here at Kaffi Ilmur. Can't wait to return and visit again : Sending love from Boston/DC!

We are breakfast here on our first day and ended coming in every day. Friendly service and delicious home cooked food and cakes. My husband had the eggs with a pile of crispy bacon, our son had the waffle, and I loved the shashuka. The coffee was superb and I’m a coffee snob. Don’t go anywhere else!
