Great experience years later. I always went for sushi there but this time we went for the teppanyaki and everything was exceptionally delicious, chef Hussein went above and beyond to show us a good time. Top shelf beef and lobster, and we got some maki rolls too that were soft as butter. Only issue was the lights, they used to be softer, now its a bit harsh maybe they could fix that but otherwise it was another great night at Torii. Definitely going back there soon.
Food is good. Avoid the ten times overpriced beer. Most expensive beer in my life, and they did not warn about the price.
The worst experience with sushi.... there wasn’t any Japanese sushi chef. The rice taste like a gummy, only two options for rolls ... California roll disgusting.... and I didn’t ask for the other .....by the way Monday and Fridays is all you can eat.....if you can eat whatever they consider as a sushi/sashimi.....bad service too
The worst sushi experience I have ever had... the place was very smelly... we thought of going somewhere else because of the smell but were too lazy to get up... we then got all you can eat sushi for 2... we had to order from two rolls only, 4 sashimi kinds and 4 nigiris only... the choices were extremely limited... we also had to follow a unique ordering sequence. First round up to 26 pieces, second round up to 12 pieces and then you can order 8 pieces only per round... the duration to bring any order was quite extensive... in order to get the order quickly, i ordered sashimi only... i also turned on my stop watch... they brought the order after more than 15 mins... i got bored more than full or satisfied... the sashimi also got smaller and smaller after every round... i believe it was a joke and so unprofessional... I regret going there and wasting my time and money.
