Waffle House - Alachua

Service was excellent and food was great. Their air conditioning was out and it was very hot was the only problem. I felt sorry for the employees working. But they were doing a great job!

This review is for the Waffle House located on 441 in Alachua. There's a cook named Tommy (or Thomas) who is truly talented in the kitchen. Please make sure to keep him! Just take a look at this image of a double 1/4 cheeseburger—it's perfect. He consistently delivers great results every time, unless he's unable to due to running out of supplies, which is beyond his control.

I had a really enjoyable experience at the restaurant! One standout was our waitress, who was exceptionally well-trained and communicated clearly. She frequently checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The tables for new customers were promptly wiped down and sanitized. It honestly felt like she was the only one working diligently, and she truly deserves recognition for her efforts. If you read this and decide to visit this Waffle House, make sure to ask for Antonette, as she will help ensure you have a wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served hot!

The staff is always friendly, and the food is great. It reminds me of Denny's! I didn't catch the name of the chef last night, but I truly enjoyed their cooking and creativity!

Dana, our server was very sweet. They were super busy, and she came and cleaned our table and the people next to us. Waited on both tables with a smile. Manager also very attentive. The order of a customer was not on their wishes and they had to make the cook a new order, no questions asked
