Panera Bread - Alameda

Among the Panera Breads I?ve seen this one may be slightly below average. A little dark inside (not very many spaces outside), slightly cluttered, service was friendly, but not overly so, food was as expected with the chicken salad sandwich heavy onthe bread and not so much on the salad (and it?s called Panera Bread for a reason and not Panera Salad). The flat bread pizzawas actually pretty good. Overall an OK experience.

Once I had dinner in Panera Bread, the food is really fresh and delicious. They also have bakery inside, you can choose different varieties of bread, pastries and pies. My family and I love Panera bread.

The restaurant features a spacious indoor area and outdoor seating, conveniently located near TJ's, Kohl's, Safeway, several banks, Walgreens, and various other establishments, making it an ideal spot to grab a bite while running errands. My favorite menu item is the frontega chicken sandwich. The bakery items are consistently fresh, and the staff is generally friendly and hardworking.

I ordered the Broccoli Cheddar Soup on September 23rd, and I encountered something that was quite mushy in texture. I found several indistinguishable pieces in my soup, and I'm not sure what they were.

Using the men's urinal was a very unpleasant experience. It was covered in dried, yellowed urine around the inside, indicating that it hadn't been cleaned with any products or brushes for quite some time—weeks, maybe even months or years. The stench was overwhelming just standing there. Additionally, I requested my muffin to be served warm, but it arrived cold. I didn’t bother asking them to heat it up, only to be told, "We don’t do that." It's a bakery, yet they can't manage to warm up a simple muffin. Disappointed.
