The Local - Alamein St, Beenleigh

Was exactly what we were looking for to watch the Games. Drinks, Simple Good Food, and TVs for the games. Will be back with friends.

Great burgers. Shouldn't charge. 75 for a small container of blue cheese. Nickel and dimeing will drive people away.

Perfect place to go for amazing food, friendly and fast paced bartenders! Every game you can imagine they have, and tons of fun events!

The honey butter chicken sandwich is fabulous!Parking: We parked on the main road and others in our party parked on the sude street. I imagine that this is a nightmare for the residents. There was a small lot with few spaces but was full. I suspect that it was employee parking.

I went to pick up lunch from The Local when I was on my lunch break from work. If it was after work, I would have wanted to eat there. The ambiance is relaxing but also pretty neat with the sports vibes. It would definitely be a cool place to hangout with friends and watch a game while eating lunch. I ordered the Honey Butter Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was amazing! It was a large sandwich that was crispy and flavorful. I am not a huge fan of French fries but theirs were very good. It was not a low calorie meal by any means but in terms of comfort food, I wish I could eat their Honey Butter Fried Chicken Sandwich regularly. Writing about it just makes me want to go over there now and order one. I highly suggest people swinging by to enjoy the great food and ambiance with friends. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
