Black Bear Coffee Shop - Alamogordo

This is a lovely spot to enjoy a Mountain Hot Chocolate (their house specialty). The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is warm and friendly. It's definitely one of the best coffee shops in this small town. The prices are reasonable and reflect the quality of their homemade-style chocolate. Plus, they support local artists!

I visited this restaurant on Christmas Eve and found the staff to be very friendly. I tried the white bear, which is similar to a white chocolate mocha, and it was delicious. The best part was that they accept Apple Pay, which was a lifesaver since I had forgotten my wallet.

The ambiance, the baristas, and especially the coffee all deserve five stars! It’s not overly sweet, and the flavor is spot on!

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a coffee while visiting Cloudcroft. They also have an upstairs area that's great for relaxing. I highly recommend the mountain mocha—it's delicious! Food rating: 5/5.

During our shopping and leisurely stroll in Cloudcroft on September 1, 2023, my son treated himself to an iced coffee. The service we received was outstanding. The café is situated at the western end of the main shopping street, and there is free street parking available. It's a fantastic spot for refreshments while visiting Cloudcroft! Food: 5/5
