Biblical waiting times rude and annoyed staff seem to do you a favor, pizza that cannot be defined as such, restaurant prices. I also happened to witness a scene of a customer who was threatened by the owner, practically the customer had asked the waiter to move some things from the table and to get noticed he lightly touched the waiter on the shoulder from behind in a friendly way. I have seen it with my own eyes and therefore I am sure of it. In short, it's better than closing, it's not really his article. Over the years this place has gotten worse and worse, I'm not just talking about the food, which even though we had booked, it wasn't there at 9pm, they make us sit down, there's no starters, no drinks and we're talking about an evening in mid-August, a table booked the day before, The service leaves something to be desired, the owners are really rude, the poor waitress doesn't speak Italian well and doesn't take the right orders, she even risked being hit with a shovel by the pizza chef, a very arrogant and rude man. Unfortunately, I cannot help but express my deep disappointment regarding this place. Initially, it seemed to be a choice based on past reputation, but today, that reputation is clearly misplaced. The holiday home is a nightmare, and the staff seems totally disinterested in satisfying customers. Rude attitudes and shouting in front of customers are the order of the day. As for the food, the pizza we ordered was simply terrible. It was sometimes raw, and even burnt for my portion. It was an extremely disappointing meal. Needless to say, I can't help but strongly advise against this place. It would be a real shame if places like this were associated with the beauty of Castellabate.
