The best home-cooked food and outstanding customer service—everything was excellent!

Absolutely fantastic food! The homemade chicken-fried steak was incredible, and the hand-pattied hamburger was delicious. The service was excellent too!

Sadly, they have closed down as of June 2018, which is unfortunate. The burgers and fries were amazing, and the sweet tea was delicious. It had the charm of a classic country café! The establishment was clean, and the staff were very friendly. We would absolutely return if they ever reopen!

I visited a few weeks ago and was quite disappointed with both the food and the service. The credit card machine was malfunctioning, and the Wi-Fi was not working. There was also no information available about when they stopped serving breakfast. I ordered a hamburger, but it tasted just like a cafeteria burger—not good at all. Additionally, there were flies buzzing around, which was rather off-putting. We ended up waiting an hour for our food. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is out of sympathy for the young staff; they seemed overwhelmed and were trying their best to manage the customers. Although they were apologetic, it didn’t make up for the long wait and the subpar food.

I often have to travel to Longview for work, and my colleagues and I always look forward to stopping here for breakfast before we leave. Without a doubt, it's the best breakfast I've ever had in Texas!
