Graney's Grill - Albany

Great hole in the wall, quasi sports bar (televisions are showing sport events). If I want a stiff drink, in a no frills atmosphere, decent bar food, I'll go here. Not a place I bring people to impress, but I love the wings and the waitresses. It's not my first choice, but it is old reliable because it is what it is.

The food is always great, the drinks are poured correctly and rhe service a Is top notch!

Placed an order for a grilled chicken sandwich with dressing. I was so excited to get my meal because Graney's is one of the few places open for nightshift hospital workers to order from these days. When I opened the box, I found a bun with a burnt/charred piece of dry chicken. No sauce, no toppings. There were cold fries and ketchup as a side along with a pickle. I have never been so disappointed with a meal. I tried to call, but only got an answering machine. I don't see myself eating here again. (Friends crispy chicken sandwich was also very charred.

Service was great, food was typical pub food, and vibe was good. Their daily specials are great especially Monday for the $10 pitchers!
