Northeast Chinese Ii - Albany

As a local from Beijing, this restaurant truly delighted me! It brought back so many childhood memories with its flavors. Everything I tried was incredibly authentic and delicious! I will definitely return whenever I'm in Albany again.

I've eaten here so often that I've almost lost track of how many times! From my very first visit, I was completely hooked. Every meal has been fantastic. Remarkably, even the crispy shrimp maintain their texture when taken to-go. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, adding to the overall excellent experience. This isn’t your typical American-style Chinese fast food; they are the real deal. I can't even order from the Specials menu because it's all in Chinese! I highly recommend the spicy chicken and spicy mussels, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any dish.

The food was fantastic, and the service was extremely friendly. I particularly enjoyed the pan-roasted dumplings, double-boiled pig bells, and mussels in a spicy sauce.

We were hungry and really expected a fast food Chinese place... but oh boy!! what a pleasant surprise when we were received with an extensive menu, friendly masquerade and comfortable seating. The owner declares the dishes patient and his recommendations were delicious. We had the eggplant with chopped pork, roasted dumplings, meat with onions and cumin, and the lamb with scalions and onions. Serving was plentiful so we were left for a great lunch the next day. We were so glad to have met a real jewel. We'll be back soon.
