Sam City Pho Grill - Albany

The server was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is cozy and quickly filled up after our arrival. Unfortunately, they had run out of menus. The menu had a great selection of dishes. We enjoy trying new restaurants, especially ones that serve pho. However, the prices for pho were on the higher side compared to other places we have tried, with bowls priced at $15-$16 each. We ordered two bowls of pho and a $19 dish with steamed rice, ribs, shrimp, pork, and garnished with shredded cabbage and lettuce. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our experience.

I have to admit, this is probably the best pho in Albany. However, I didn't give it a 5-star rating because the environment, service, and prices are not the greatest. The good thing is that they are not usually very busy, so you can get your food and leave without any hassle.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. My colleague, who travels frequently, brought me here and we both enjoyed our experience. Despite having many dining options, he chooses to come here whenever possible, which speaks to the quality of the food. The comforting bowl of soup was perfect on a rainy day in Portland. The restaurant's interior is a bit eclectic but well-maintained.

The wok-fried salad at this restaurant is truly the best salad I've ever had. I've had it before, but when I moved away, I couldn't forget how delicious it was. It has left a lasting impression on me, and now I make sure to order it every time I come back. Thank you.

This is my favorite spot for delicious Pho! The owner is usually present and very pleasant to interact with. I highly recommend trying Christian's delight.
