Applebee's Grill - Albemarle

There were a couple of downsides. The decor didn't really grab my attention—aside from the TVs, there wasn't much else visually appealing in the room. Also, nobody was wearing masks, and social distancing wasn't really enforced. The restaurant was about 30% full, but groups were sitting right next to each other. It would have been more effective to space people out in the seating area. However, considering the great food and our wonderful server, I would give this place a rating of around 4.4 stars.

I ordered the Bourbon Street Steak with garlic potatoes, and my husband had the grilled chicken breast with garlic potatoes. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The two house salads were also quite good. Our waitress, Hannah R., was helpful and welcoming. It's a fantastic spot for lunch.

Tracy provided excellent service, and the food was fantastic—truly amazing!

I give this Applebee site a 4 out of 5 stars because the service was top notch. The food was better than I remembered at other Applebees visits. The food was very fast and the staff checked me constantly, even while the restaurant was in the middle of a meal break. I think the staff deserves an award. I took a star because the beer selection is missing.

I ordered bourbon steak n shrimp with fries. My son bourbon chicken n shrimp..appetizer was the onion rings. Everything was delicious to the t. The waitress Caley was fantastic. This was my 2nd time being there in 24 yrs. My son's 1st. time. The hostess the waitress n all everything was fantastic. Really enjoyed it. We will be back
