L'altro Caffe - ALBEROBELLO

Labeled vegan dishes on the menu, a bit pricey (touristic area), normal portions. We tried orecchiette al pomodoro and con le cime di rapa. Happy to find a place with traditional vegan pasta

Not a lot of choices in Alberobello but, surprisingly, L'altro Caffe actually indicates on the menu which items are vegan and they aren't just the typical pasta with tomato sauce. Some are very unique to this area. We tried the Friselle al Pomodoro Basilico e Origano, which is a delicious typical dried bread, topped with tomato, as an appetizer. The orecchiette was great, with turnip (rapa) greens and bread crumbs on top, as well as another dish topped with tomato sauce. Definitely a good choice if you're having dinner in Alberobello.

In occasione del festival delle luci ero un albero-lined. Questo festival si svolge nelle vacanze di Natale per circa un mese. il giorno in cui sono riuscito ad organizzarmi era l'Immacolata, l'8 dicembre, così vi lascio immaginare la confusione che ho potuto incontrare. il momento in cui questa confusione era particolarmente pesante era il momento della cena, tutti i pub erano pieni. Fortunatamente all'Altro Caffè siamo riusciti a trovare posto il posto è su due piani, ma non ha molti posti disponibili. i panini sono buoni e c'è una vasta scelta, anche per i vegetariani come me. L'unica talpa, lentezza in servizio, ma come ho anticipato era un giorno speciale.

The orchid was great, with beet (rapa) green and bread crumbs on top, as well as another dish with tomato sauce. Definitely a good choice when you eat in Alberobello.
