Alberton Hotel

The service was very friendly. The food was delicious and affordable. There are plenty of parking spaces available at the back of the hotel. The atmosphere is typical of a pub, with a beautiful beer garden.

It is a shame that the Alberton Hotel has declined over the past 20 years. It used to be my favorite place to go for birthdays or just because. However, in the past 5 years, the restaurant has been almost empty whenever I visit. When I first went to the Alberton 15 years ago, it was always busy for a reason - the food was amazing and there was nothing that tasted bad. But now, all the food seems to be frozen, steam boiled, and air fried. They need to go back to using fresh produce and revive the old Alberton Hotel from 15 years ago. Many people who have visited the hotel over the past 40 years agree with me. This review is not meant to be negative, I just want to see the old Alberton with great tasting food again. If they continue to serve food that is cooked in a frozen steam air fryer, I worry about the future of the Alberton. I encourage others to visit the Alberton and then try to eat there and compare it to other pubs in Adelaide.

We have been to this restaurant several times over the years. The food is usually good and the atmosphere is lovely. However, the prices can be high for the portion sizes and quality of the food. The salad and vegetable bar is a nice addition when it is well-maintained, which unfortunately was not the case during our recent visit.

This pub to dinner. we booked our table on a Friday night. lively place. extensive menu, friendly staff. we had scotch filet steak, salat and chips. steak very tender and small salat only, but thought it expensive at $36, but good all the...sam bier batted rock flathead was excellent, so the sweet chili garnels were also divided a plate of home made mini spring rolls that were excellent.

Recently attended this hotel for 2 functions- 60th 80th. Both were great and food very good. The staff manager made the ‘arranging’ of both so easy for us. Would thoroughly recommend the outside area plus the room to the side of Dining Room
