The prices are quite high, but if you're looking for fresh, top-quality seafood, this is the spot to go. The owner is also incredibly kind!

The steamers I bought here were disappointing when I got them home. However, the soft shell crabs were large and very tasty.

My family had been regular customers and bought lobsters during the holidays for 20 years. I ordered two lobsters killed and cleaned. They left the tomalley (green stuff) inside and I did not see it until after it was cooked. The FDA warns not to eat tomalley as it is potentially toxic. When I called the store and explained the lobster was not completely cleaned, Giovanna would not listen to me and was not concerned at all with satisfying a longtime customer. I see the market has had a change in ownership and is no longer affiliated with Syosset Seafood. The store is also now poorly run when you try to pick up an order on the holidays. I will not return.
