The food was very good and the service was excellent. Some former juniper have said that the 'spicy' dishes were a...little Bland I asked the waitress if it was possible to do them a little hotter, and the kitchen duly obligated with a large spicy sauce. We really ate our fullness and with a few Chinese beers, the bill was under 50 euros.
With all the other restaurants that are closed on a Monday, we decided to go asian for a change. Bad choice this time. Friendly service, but the food was not at the level of praise we read in the comments. The Baie d'Halong Special Entree for 2 was...in oil freezing oil was not yet soaked at temperature? and the main course as piquante bland and not very appealing. Wouldn't eat there again, even on a Monday!
Usually in Albi we eat in one of the cafés in Place Vigan, always French and very traditional, so it was with some contempt that we were looking for this little restaurant that is easy from the beaten route. I am so glad that we....The food was delicious and it was really pleasant to eat a brighter Asian style meal for lunch. I have a piquant chicken with noodles and John had a delicious coconut milk chicken cure with pure rice. We also had some delicious crispy shrimps, coffee, wine and mineral water all for less than 30 euros. I'd definitely eat again here. The dining room was cool and attractive and the service was attentive and helpful. It is certainly worth going down the Rue de la Croix Verte, which is not all that promising, but persevering and seeking the oriental style entrance and you will not be disappointed.
