Breakfast Creek Staghorn Beer Garden

We hadn't been to the Breakfast Creek Hotel for many years but rediscovered it in January of this year. Suffice to say, we now LOVE it as we have been back 3 times in 2 months. The steak here is of great quality and value. The sausages are also pretty delicious. It is definitely worth the money with a great atmosphere. The service is mostly excellent, with just one or two staff members possibly not having their best day, but that can happen to anyone. Now if only their slot machines gave a good payout!

This restaurant was very mediocre. The quality of the food was below average compared to previous visits.

The food was tasty once it arrived. However, while we were waiting, we got up to check out the steaks in the display window. When we returned, our reserved table had been given away to another party, which was disappointing. We were eventually seated at a different table, but it was not in the same area. Overall, not a happy experience.

Cold beer and good food reckon it’s one of my favourite places to eat well done see you again

It was a busy night. Yet I had booked for 7pm a number of days prior. We arrived early. Not many places to sit or stand to have a drink while we waited for our table. At 7pm our table wasn’t ready. We were placed at another table, and were getting wet as it began to rain again. Moved to another table. Was told the kitchen would be advised of our table swap for our entries that were ordered. No suck luck. They had to call me to ask where we were. Delish calamari though! Mains were good, yummy fresh bread roll with the parmas was nice. The burger was super disappointing, luke warm to cold on arrival . All in all it was not a night to rave about but for the most part 3/4 of us were fed and content.
