Soy products aren't very common in the USA, but they're easy to prepare and can be easily added to curries, stuffings, roasts, and marinades. The store offers a large selection of noodles, spicy sauces, Asian products, teas, and harder-to-find items like tapioca starch, chickpea flour, arrowroot, agar-agar, miso, kimchi, and other specialty ingredients often used in vegan recipes. I was thrilled to find rice noodles, glutinous rice flour for making mochi, and tapioca pearls for bubble tea. I highly recommend this place for vegans who love to cook and bake, as well as anyone interested in experimenting with meat alternatives. While they do sell fish, which may not appeal to everyone, the vegan-friendly products they offer make it well worth the visit for me. The fish counter is located at the back of the store, so you can easily avoid it if you prefer. On my visit, the fake meat freezer was situated away from the dry goods, and the staff were very helpful in assisting me in finding everything I needed.
