Federico's Mexican Food - Albuquerque

I visit Federico's frequently because it's conveniently located near my home, and they offer decent specials from Monday to Thursday. However, ever since the ownership changed, the staff doesn’t seem as welcoming. They don’t greet you with a simple hello, which feels off-putting. The Mexican music playing loudly on the TV adds to the atmosphere, but it doesn’t make up for the lack of friendliness. I choose to go there and spend my money, but I don’t choose to have a negative experience. It's important to remember that without customers, there are no employees.

Try the sausage breakfast burrito all around great place and delicious food!

WARNING!!!! They do not adhere to their stated hours. I arrived at 8:10 PM on a Friday night, and both the sign outside and their online information indicated they served until 9 PM. The front door was locked, but I managed to enter after someone else exited. The waitress informed me that they were closed and the kitchen had already shut down. It would be helpful to update your hours if you're not going to follow them, so you don’t waste other people's time!

This is the worst Mexican I have yet to eat! For one large Pepsi it costed $4.99 which is very overpriced to say the least I didn't know the price because they do not have. Prices on their menu board. I ordered the taco plate and the meat was greasy, bland, and tasteless the rice was mooshy and had zero taste also, and the beans tasted sour! Avoid this place it was $20.00 wasted and they should be embarrassed to serve the garbage they label as food!

The portion sizes are generous and the prices are excellent. The bean and cheese burritos are absolutely the best!
