I have a piece of cake from a pop-up market since then and again it found delicious. I'm not gluten-free, but that was a case where I was surprised to find it was gluten-free. the texture was great. will certainly buy again from planty sweet.
I recently discovered that the restaurant does not have a proper loading area at the front, making it inaccessible for walk-in customers. I ended up going next door where I sampled some of their desserts. I tried a lemon berry calf minicake, which was quite good. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't try more of their offerings due to the lack of access. It seems that they only serve customers who pre-order, which isn't very convenient for visitors from outside the city, like myself.
I've been following Planty Sweet on Instagram for a long time, and their cakes are absolutely stunning. I hadn’t attempted to order from them recently because they only accept advanced bookings. However, I work in [censored] Hill, and by chance, the owner came by to showcase a sample cake for my office. Wow, it was amazing! The cake was incredibly moist and rich, with the most decadent chocolate frosting I could have imagined. I can't wait for them to open a shop soon!
This is a completely vegan bakery in Albuquerque. I initially tried their bundled cakes, which were sold as vegan donuts at Zendo Café. They have a wide selection, and most of them are great, but the chocolates are my personal favorites. However, the ordering and pickup process can be quite frustrating. You have to place your order several days in advance and then pick it up a few hours later at a kombucha shop in Albuquerque. I hope they eventually establish a permanent cake shop where customers can find some items without the need to order days ahead of time.
