We booked with Marriott Bonvoy, and when checked in none of our information was in their system. Yet, when we checked in we weren't given the info for the Sherton Club or how we got there which we paid to be on Club level, so had to go back downstairs to get access. The rooms are so so, the main issue for us was not having AC that was working or going below 74 with stale air. We called front desk they sent maintenance up, he checked and took out a very dirty air filter and said he would tell front desk we needed another room. After a 3rd move of rooms, we finally had a room that had a newer AC unit and the room got down to 64! That room hadn't been cleaned very well as there were long black hairs all over the bathroom and the bathtub had sediment in it along with the shower head being disconnected from the wall. Was highly disappointed not just in Marriott but in Sheraton as it seems brand names just mean very little any more for reputation. We own Marriott Timeshare and bought based off the Marriott customer service and care of their properties. We feel that has lacked as we have visited quite a few along our roadtrip this past two weeks.
Just a few hundred yards from the airport. Great location. The rooms are standard. Mine didn't have a refrigerator, but they ordered one to be sent up which was nice. The bed is very very very comfortable and oversized..Alaska King perhaps.Walkability: far it is walking distance from the airport although I don’t recommend that their shuttle is very convenient
Overall I had a good experience. The shuttle from and to the airport was prompt and the drivers were friendly. The water pressure and room service were great. The air conditioning worked well and the room was clean. The hotel is showing its age and I did have trouble with the tv. A technician came up and solved the problem, but when I turned it on the next morning, I had the same issue. When I mentioned it while checking-out, I was told (jokingly) that I shouldn’t have turned the tv off. I wasn’t looking for any type of compensation, but an apology would have been nice instead of just dismissing me. I will stay again, you can’t beat the location and I did feel safe there while traveling alone.
I would like to advise you that I had over heard the way the front office manager was talking to here employees I think her name is Danielle I am a frequent guest at the sheraton, me and friend were sitting in the bar and I could over hear Danielle talking to her co workers very rudely and disrespectfully. Specific occasions are when they at the front she speaks to them very disrespectfully, especially the black males and females. This makes me especially sad and irritated because she doesn't treat her other co workers who are white/Hispanic this way. I have also hear from around a lot of complaints about her from other customers about how rude and unprofessional she is. I hate to have to post this about your hotel but it is so unprofessional, a problem for the hotel and it has made me change my place to stay. I will no longer be staying here anymore after 15 long years. It's sad that management will allow this type of behavior from a manager. Please be aware and stay away if you can. Kelly, Brianna, Nuria, Nick, Josiah, alicia and Geoff are all very wonderful and helpful keep up the good work.
This place is about 3 years behind with a deep clean. There is mols that is masked by some spray leaving you with allergic symptoms for 2 days after. My family and friends have enjoyed this place for over 20 years and will not return or speak favorably either. We booked 3 room. One had complimentary water the other 2 did not. One room had coffee while the other 2 did not. No service in the restaurant even after sitting at a table for 15 minutes. The bar is closed.
