I 've been a frequent customer at this spot for a few months now. Every single thing I 've tried on the menu (most of the items by now) has been fantastic. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. I would highly recommend either the Sandia burrito or the Garbonzorizo breakfast burrito. Did I mention the bang for your buck as well? Fries for $1.75. A HUGE burrito for $9-12. It 's definitely my favorite vegan spot in town, and I could not recommend it enough to anyone who enjoys New Mexican food.
My wife has a soy allergy and they cook most of their food in soy oil. Its good but could use some help. All she could get to eat was rice and queso. The rice was bland and the cheese sauce/queso was ok. I had the El Jefe with red chili sauce and it was pretty good. They should use a better oil and raise the prices on their menu. Cheap soy oil is not the way to go. Also a little salt goes a long way.
Loved the burrito and enchiladas they make the cashew cheese fresh there!
Fantastic scratch made food. So delicious. Vegan and many gluten free choices!
