Border Wine Room Restaurant - Albury

Great meal, great service and great wine selection. Not for the fussy eater. Set menu and wines to match if you like a nice wine selection with each course.

Walking on Friday night on Dean Street, we spotted the sign for the Border Wine Room and headed up the stairs. The bar, at 6pm, was very quiet. Our two hostesses were friendly and helpful and we were soon enjoying a glass of whisky (for him) and gin and tonic (for her). We spent 45 minutes in this lovely space and we will return on our next visit to Albury. It would be good to try their degustation meal next time.

My usual TA search highlighted this great little gem in Dean St. degustation menu at its best. Fine wine and excellent staff made the evening worth while. Highly recommend

A very small but interesting menu is well explained by the waiting staff. Three of us enjoyed a cross section of the menu and they were all hits. Ample proportions and each meticulously presented. This is one of my favourite dining experiences in a long time.

We enjoyed fine food and wine served by pleasant staff in a comfortable atmosphere. The menu was different, trying to be innovative, certainly something new. Really enjoyed the Tongue and Cheek, highly recommendable.
