Commercial Golf Club Bistro - Albury

They Golf Club is a great place to go with family. It caters well. My only issue being that when I ordered a beef and reef with hollandaise I was served with two tablespoons of butter. The butter was unsalted, cold and on the top of my steak. I am a person that likes minimal butter. To have it heaped onto my meal without my knowledge when ordering severely impacted my enjoyment of the meal. I also requested a rare steak which I understand is difficult to perfect. However It appears that my steak was only cooked on the exterior for mere seconds as the interior was blue.Honestly it is a bad day when the best thing on your plate is fried chips.Service however is always great.

Very average food on the buffet. Stay away from the Chinese - it was just like eating salt. Pasta ok as was pizza. Desserts were nice enough, they had a nice sticky-date pudding. I could never recommend this place though as I felt sick for 24 hours afterwards and it was not from overeating! Definitely would not return!

This venue combines a bar, bistro, poker machines and TAB. We went for a meal and found it to be a friendly, relaxed environment. There's nothing fancy on the menu but the dishes we ordered were nicely cooked, satisfying and tasty - overall, it was enjoyable and good value. The bar offered a good range of drinks at reasonable prices.

Simple menu (what I prefer) which was well priced and tasted good. Good outlook over the golf course.

Delicious & beautifully presented meal. Steak so tender, veges perfect in crispness & flavor, service perfect combination of attentive & yet not obtrusive. Desert too good to share!
