Sauz - Alcalá de Henares

We had the mixed platter for 2 and the patacones. The waitress kindly understood we didn't understand Spanish and explained in English the different parts of the mixed platter including the sauces. They were all very good. We then liked the patacones so much from the platter that we ordered them alone. The place was clean and the service was very good. We will definitely go back, and will recommend it to friends who have lived in Venezuela.

First time for us in alcala, we went there for an evening meal thinking the place looked ok....yes that was it, ended up having the cheapest nachos you could ever ask for with cheap nasty cheese sauce!!!!!and microwaved pizzas! Service was ok the guy was nice enough to make efforts to understand us but the food was absolutely shocking! Get a real chef in this kitchen !!!it doesn’t take a lot to do nice cheap tapas! We have a better tapas restaurant in Plymouth in the uk how does this work ????come on Spaniards get a grip to make tourists love your country!

La comida está buenísima, volveré a probar todos los platos

Muy buena calidad y servicio con toque familiar. La cachapa te transporta a Venezuela y a sus sabores. La porción es más que suficiente

Actualizo comentario: siguen siendo ¡las papaupas de Madrid! La masa es única, finita y no sé cómo consiguen textura crujiente por fuera y suave por dentro! Es un deleite! Se nota que trabajan con ingredientes de primera! La atención es Excelente, la misma cercanía y buen servicio! Además, todo limpiecito y acogedor y pa’ completá buenos precios!
