Marcampo - Alcobaca

We called in at lunchtime as many workers were going there and it's normally a good sign. 8euro each for the menu of the day and 1.50euro for a dessert. Given how busy they were and us not speaking Portuguese we felt they were very good/patient with us. Hope to visit again one day.

Although you might not think much of this restaurant located on the busy road crossing Alfeizerão, the food is excellent and for the best value for money you could ever wish for. Every day they serve 3 to 5 different dishes of the day, all traditional Portuguese food. Choose fish or meat, grilled or braised and finish with a good desert and coffee. What else can I add? English spoken, friendly service and most of all full of locals that appreciate an honest kitchen!
