Museu Do Atum - Alcoutim

Had low expectations as you are a little limited on Tavira island, but oh my. The grilled fish of the day was amazing. We had A massive sea bass to share. Beautifully seasoned with crispy skin. Would recommend.

We had amazing starters and drinks…but out main course “Arroz de marisquo” was forgotten. After an hour wait we finally got the most oversalulted, undercooked arroz you can think of. Had to put 1/2 bottle of plain water in the bowl to make it closely edible. Sorry but you’re nowhere near professionals.

I came to this restaurant with a friend and we ordered roasted octopus with potatoes and a museum cod fish, both were poorly served, overpriced for the size of the portion (half a octopus and a very small cod steak) and the taste wasn't the best. The staff was kind but sometimes they took a long time to attend to our orders. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.
