Excellent, excellent, excellent. Food— superb! Location and outdoor seating— perfect! Service—friendly, helpful, generous.

We spent a fabulous evening here, the food was absolutely amazing. Steak would melt in your mouth! A beautiful setting and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The owner Peter is a gentleman. There is entertainment put on for the guests, the evening that we were there was a guy called Danny Maverick on, he had the whole place singing and dancing, he was a fabulous entertainer and singer. Would highly recommend this establishment.

We recently came to this restaurant and despite speaking limited Portuguese and the owner speaking even less English we managed to book a table for two. The owner was very patient with me and was not impatient which I appreciated. When we tuned up, the food we received was wholesome and filling. We started with a cold plate of cheese and meat followed by two mains of lamb chops and then pigs’ cheeks. These were succulent and tasty! The sweet that we had was a mixture of tarts and cakes. Together with a bottle of vinho verde and coffee the total spend for two of us was €35 which with good portions seemed very reasonable. I would definitely coming back again!

We feel so fortunate to have been taken to this wonderful restaurant as we would never have found it on our own. We were served the most delicious authentic Portuguese dishes by Anna. My favourite was the pork in fig sauce. Or was it the lamb with quince and sweet potato??!! Charcuterie to start and a plate of delicious sweet treats to end. There is no menu and no choice. It’s just like eating at home but with dishes prepared by such a talented chef. It’s worth coming all the way to Portugal just to eat here. Oh, and did I mention the view? Stunning!

We have been in the Algarve for many months and this is the best restaurant we have been to. Beautiful food in gorgeous surroundings, quality experience at an excellent price, will return again
