Average food in a cosy venue. Nice service, pleasant evening. House red was very good. Ribeye steak a little tough, lamb shank excellent, some green veg would have improved both dishes.
Have not been here for several years, stumbled in on Boxing Day evening as wanted duck. Good waitress, good house red for twelve euros, and very good duck with passion fruit sauce. There were lovely herb roasted potatoes instead of the endless fries. They seem to have upped their game with a new chef. The actual restaurant is charmingly decorated. Give it a whirl.
A lovely warm welcome in a very cutely decorated restaurant. A small menu and disappointed to have selected one of the five starters available only to be told that they didn’t have it, however, our main courses were delicious. Perfectly cooked with ample sides. Very good house wine both white and red. Very tasty and well presented desserts. Clearly a young chef and credit to him. We would most definitely return.
We went to this restaurant quite a number of years ago when it was OK but nothing out of the ordinary, and since then we have not been back. However, recently some visiting friends asked us to join them there for dinner and we had a lovely surprise. It is completely different, the food is different to the usual fare in Tavira and beautifully cooked. The service was good too and the decor/ambience is really nice. Middle range pricewise but good quality. We will most definitely be back!
