Bom Tempero - ALDEIA RUIVA

Important to note: this restaurant has been under new management since the beginning of february 2024. Every single review that was written before this counts for nothing! Here is my experience: Well, as it was sunday....went out for lunch.....lets try the new people in the old place...what a welcome! New manager not interested in us...waitress came with a cigarette in hand...we said hello before she did…waiter arrived with menu….we asked if fish was 'do mar ' (standard Portuguese phrase, meaning ´caught in sea, as opposed to farmed´ … He answerd: yes its from the sea...not frozen. Did not understand.....asked the manager. Who said ´yes its all from the sea´….Me: farmed or caught.?  Answer: no..just normal... He also told us how busy they have been the 4 days they had been open (was impressed .Well on this day, a sunday at 1.30 pm...just nobody there...but us...we left without tasting the food, may not return......

Food is very good, the price is normal. Alle the people who work there are nice and helpfull

Just called in for a coffee, nice owner doesn't speak English but with my little Portuguese we got coffee and a beer.

O que pedimos foi salmão, Dorade, nunca vi tão pequeno. A carne de porco era um prato duro e desagradável, sem enfeite. A garçonete repetiu a mesma coisa dezenas de vezes e ainda não havia batatas fritas, mas batatas com dourada para encher o prato. Existem restaurantes melhores.

Fui ouvir Fado há algumas semanas e foi maravilhoso! A comida era saborosa, o serviço excelente e o ambiente era aconchegante! Eu recomendo que você visite!
