Denny's - Aldergrove Langley

Just your ordinary Denny’s. The servers don’t really pay attention as much as other restaurants.

Denny's is one of our favorite restaurants so we were excited at the thought of having lunch at this location last week when we were in the area. We were so disappointed with our experience at this Langley location! My husband ordered medium rare steak with eggs and had to send the steak back twice the first steak was literally raw, the second steak was overcooked on the outside but still raw in the middle (and it was obvious from where he had cut into it that they had put the original steak back on the grill and returned it to us and the third steak was a new steak but they had cut a quarter of it off (possibly to make up for the bites and chunk he cut off of the first steak before discovering it was raw? and it was completely overcooked. The waitress was lovely and completely agreed the cooks on the steak were unacceptable. I ordered a grand slam with soft/medium soft boiled eggs and hashbrowns. It came with barely any hashbrowns and the eggs were so raw the egg was literally transparent. I sent it back and it took a good 10 minutes to get new eggs and they were now hard as rubber. I didn't eat them or send them back but did make the server aware and chose not to have them replaced again because by this point we were finished everything else and tbh felt bad for her. Just really disappointed with our experience and don't think we'll return back to this location.

I give extra stars even though it is basic food and basic atmosphere but it's exactly what 1 can expect. Basic good food at a basic good bust and a family atmosphere. It's nice to find an affordable restaurant in this era a very expensive eating out.

Worst service ever won’t even take the plates back once you are done with appetizer and we specially asked vegetarian options and brought us bacon food items. Didn’t even bother saying sorry most horrible Denny’s we ever been to.

It's Denny's. It's a diner. You're not going to get gourmet here. But it is pretty reliable and consistent.If you do want something a little better, White Spot, Old Spaghetti Factory, and Boston Pizza are only a couple of blocks away. But Denny's is convenient, open 24 hours, and popular.
