Legendary Noodle Langley

One of the best noodle places around the Langley area. Most of their dishes are amazing and authentic. For people not used to Asian cuisine I would ask for recommendations. But for the few times I've been here it doesn't seem like they have anything that's not exceptional.

One of my favourite finds near home! This is a small family shop tucked away near willowbrook mall. What caught my eye was the hand pulled noodles and they're xiao long bao dumplings! I was so exciting to find a place so close to home that has yummy, chewy noodles and delicious xiao long baos! Since we've discovered legendary noodle, my partner has been more times than you can count and he loves the peanut noodle bowl. I had to tell my friend about it who loves peanuts and she was obsessed too! Unfortunately I have a sensitivity to peanuts, but my favourite is the lemon garlic noodles with shrimp. So much noodles, giant shrimp, lots of vegetables and the best of all, so much garlic!! I would recommend this to people but I don't want it to get too busy

This is a rather quirky little noodle place. The booth seating has a slight resemblance to Zubu with its industrial decor, while the charming wooden round table near the entrance gives off a café vibe. The rest of the place, though, feels more like a cafeteria. Honestly, it's been a long time since I've visited any Legendary Noodle locations; my last visit was to their original shop on Main and 26th! I remember back then they served steaming hot, flavorful soup with a generous helping of semi-chewy noodles and a rather meager amount of thinly sliced beef. However, everything here—from the appetizers to the noodles—tasted different than I remembered, not worse, just changed. It was amusing when a customer walked in asking for something akin to pad thai, and the server promptly responded, "We are Chinese." I appreciated that :D

I had been eagerly anticipating my visit to this restaurant after reading all the positive reviews and decided I had to give it a try. I ordered the beef pan-fried noodles and some dumplings. The dumplings were decent, but they were a bit on the small side. Unfortunately, the flavor of the noodle dish didn't appeal to me at all. I couldn't even finish it, and it cost almost $20. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but they certainly didn't meet what I was hoping for. I usually enjoy my Chinese food in the Richmond area, but I've had great experiences with Korean and Japanese cuisine in Langley, so this was quite disappointing.
