The Merlin - Alderley Edge

I enjoyed my visit to this restaurant because it was very pleasant. My friend and I both really enjoyed our appetizers (I ordered the Hummus falafel, she had the baked Brie). The main course was also delicious, but I found mine to be a bit too spicy for my taste (the roasted vegetable bake). However, I still highly recommend this place as the staff were friendly and there were plenty of excellent vegan and vegetarian options available.

I have to begin by saying that this restaurant is incredibly impressive, with fantastic decor. They offer a separate vegan menu which, while somewhat basic with options like hummus and coconut curry, was delicious. I visited for my birthday and the staff went above and beyond by writing "happy birthday" in sauce on my dessert, which was a lovely touch.

I visited this restaurant after a round of golf in Alderley Edge. The service was excellent and they had a separate menu for vegan options. I tried the curry and it was delicious, with just the right amount of spice.

Beautiful restaurant. we had to sit in the bar, as this is the only part that is dog friendly, which is a scandal, as it looked very nice. eating was absolutely beautiful. more expensive than we would normally go, but the delicious meal was worth it.

Our second time here. this is an excellent restaurant. beautifully decorated, pleasant and helpful staff with delicious freshly prepared meals.
