Il Saraceno - ALESSANDRIA

Our lunch began with prosciutto crudo and wonderful fresh mozzarella. Our plates of spaghetti con vongole and mixed grilled seafood were plentiful and tasteful and helped with a bright and spicy white wine. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere warm...and welcoming. We recommend Pizzeria Saraceno for a pleasant lunch.

After a day trip in Alessandria we ended up in this delicious restaurant for dinner. The employees were charming, out of their way to help this English couple with very little Italian between us. To our disappointment there was no fillet steak available, although our water promised us. We settled for veal, which was tasty, tasty and beautifully prepared We were not disappointed as promised when we came back next night, we were immediately recognized, and two beautifully juicy fillet steaks were soon discarded! On both occasions, the staff went out of our way. We will definitely return to this restaurant, should we ever find ourselves in Alessandria. I cannot recommend Il Saraceno very much! .
