Awesome accommodation at an amazing price. Great hopitality

First time back for over 25 years. Hasn't changed much. Like most other things not quite as good as remembered from the OLD days.

For the price you pay.. It kind of tells you before you arrive its going to be a tavern stay. My bed was comfortable, staff were great. Didn't get kept awake by noise (Thurs night). Could see they are trying to upgrade. My room had fresh towels, curtains good. Thanks guys, kitchen clean and coffee appreciated. My 4 star based on comfortable, not decor. At least for drivers who need a pillow, they offer an affordable nights rest.

A simple town with simple hotels. Criterion club hotel is not in tune with the Tao. Cramped, peeling rooms filled with the sounds of frequent bar mongrels made Mr Chow and his companions most uncomfortable. Poor network security too. Owners must not become too complacent if they want to succeed in the competitive hotel business. 1
