Bistro Sancerre - Alexandria

French baguette ?? Not at all. Little taste of France ? If you?ve never been to France maybe. Cheese plate : Most of cheeses were not even French ! The foie gras was pretty Ok. Sorry but very desappointed by my lunch. I will try another place next time.

Update: Thurs., March 30, 2022: Bistro Sancerre has brought back their famous Rockfish! Stop in tonight and let your taste buds be overwhelmed! I have included a pic of their updated menu. This place was wonderful! The whole food was delicious, the staff we know and receive. The steak was boiled for perfection and the cream of the mushroom was to die.

Love this restaurant! The staff is friendly and accommodating and not disturbing. The food was A. The truffle deviled eggs with Confit Ente could be a weekly treatment. Hubby got the salmonw/beet risotto. Delicious! I just said good things about Bistro Sancerre. Our date night spot.

This place has amazing food, beautiful atmosphere and is very large. Do you have a group of 8 for dinner? This place can be easily accommodated. There is even a back bar with two rooms if you want to hold a private event. Front bar area also has plenty of space if you just want to stop for some delicious cocktails. Extensive glass wine list. This will be added to my short list of favorites.
