District Taco - Alexandria

Please bring back the old District Taco! The wrapped tacos get soggy too fast, and I miss the red trays for dining in. It would also be great to have the salsa bar back. Additionally, having napkin dispensers on the tables and the fun bilingual flashcards for food delivery would really enhance the experience. Many of the unique qualities that set District Taco apart from Chipotle seem to have disappeared.

The taste was quite good, and I ordered the $20 burrito. However, I wasn't very impressed with the tortilla; it felt a bit rubbery and ended up falling apart.

$12+ for a third of those big paper bowls?! I know it’s 2024 but dude, when i saw my portion size, I thought I got a kids meal. Complimentary Parking my a . Here’s the real deal, you’re paying extra for a clean wide open country experience. A rarity in Old Towne Alexandria where almost every business is street parking, tiny cluttered with wholesome junk. So if you’re short on time, want space need a 15-30min break, this place is great. If you got plenty of time, there is PLENTY of other fine Mexican dining experiences around town that are not over $10 a plate… in 2024, yes, they exist.

I had some of the best tacos I've ever tasted! The staff were incredibly friendly and assistive. Plus, they have an app, which is definitely a bonus!

Mid tacos and ingredients. Chipotle is better and they're not great either. I've had better tacos from District Tacos in DC, but that was years ago. Pre-pandemic. I hope this doesn't reflect the entire chain. I got three tacos: chicken, steak, and fish.
