Feedback gevenI don’t know how a place with such consistently bad service can still be in business. The food is great don’t get me wrong but having to constantly deal with rude staff, wrong orders, waiting for our order or lost tickets just isn’t worth it. EVERY time it’s something and there’s never any accountability or sincere attempts to make their mistakes right. Bottom line the food just isn’t good enough to make up for the headache this place causes.
I called in a order today 2 slices of pizza and a gyro platter with extra meat guess what... to my surprize there is no extra meat On the gyro platter.. Take out) The Food is good,, Just be careful what you order.. on the phone and what you get When you pick it up Just maybe she might have misunderstood what I said instead of extra meat.... I got extra French fries It must be the cost
I do not understand the bad reviews this place has gotten, I have been coming here for years and I've never had a bad experience. Moreover, I would crawl here on my knees to get one of their Italian heros, it is hands down the best sandwich I have ever had! Their pizza has always been very nice too, overloaded with toppings and the crust is crisp on the outside and nice and bready on the inside. Maybe it doesn't travel well, I don't know, I've always eaten my slice in the restaurant, but that might explain the reviews. Either way you are missing the star of the show if you don't get the Italian hero!
Service was not good but it's a pizzeria. The problem was the pizza was nothing like the last time I was there! Nobody expects good service from a pizzeria if you're from North Jersey like me, but the pizza has to be good at least! This place was good till they changed the doe ?. Not worth the money for imitation pizza! This place was the best and I couldn't drive near it w/o a slice. Oh well
If it was possible to give a 0 star review, that’s what I would have given instead. I truly don’t understand how EVERY single time we order from here it is never a good experience. I am very understanding, as I was in the service industry for almost 10 years, but honestly this is just not the vibe. First of all, their timing is never right. They quote 15 min and it’s at least another 15 once you actually arrive for your order, and that’s IF they even have your ticket. Think it could be because it’s busy and they’re in the weeds? Incorrect. It could be dead and they will still not know where your ticket is. More times than not we have either come home with the wrong order, or had to wait for our food. When we call and say something, it’s always an apology and a “discount” that when you order again to use, doesn’t actually exist. Don’t even get me started about the staff I have never met such a group of rude people in customer service. Most recently, their “new system” ….it’s been like 8 months of them using that excuse btw) lost the ticket for one entree but produced the ticket for the app when I came to pick up the food they were very rude about THEIR mistake. I get it, sh!t happens, but it’s not my mistake. Then the “discount” they offered was $1…..what the eff kind of discount is that? That’s not even 10%…then when I pointed that out it was $2…don’t get me wrong I’m not strapped for cash by any means but it’s the principal. Like I said as someone who was in the biz I get it but also don’t be rude about it. Your food can’t be trash and your customer service be even worse. Train your staff better or curate better food. Safe to say we will NEVER order here again, and will be spreading the word on just how terrible this experience, as just like all the others, have been. We keep giving it another chance cause it’s close and others always say how good it is….it’s not. Save yourself the headache and stomachache friends!
