Ive never eaten in a soup kitchen but I'd be willing to bet the food and the service would be exponentially better! I am absolutely certain that no special care goes into the food prep or presentation. It didn't look appetizing and it didn't taste like anything special at all. The salsa looked and tasted like puréed tomato sauce...no onions, no jalapeños, no cilantro, no cumin, no nothing! My sisters nacho grande plate looked like a child's plate....again no onions, tomatoes, olives, cheese sauce, jalapeños, or anything that makes a chip a nacho! They even made the child's plate a complete disappointment. Not edible! I would only recommend this restaurant to the people who work there! Maybe if they tasted the food they would shut their own restaurant down!

I've never been disappointed. It's generally consistent, hot and quick plates and so much better than fast drive-through food. Staff is always professional. Pricing is good. While I could see a food connoisseur finding fault, 4 stars because of price, quality, selection and wait time for a quick sit down and get served lunch.

This was a horrible experience and waste of a lunch hour. The staff was all authentic for a Mexican resturant but rude, just not polite at all. The food came fast, maybe 5 minutes on a Friday lunch rush. Nearly every table was full-and I just don't get it. I ordered the fajita plate. The meat was obviously cooked earlier in the day and the plate was not sizzling. The beans were a soup on the side plate, and were gone in 4 fork fulls on the fajita. The rice was just rice and food coloring boiled in chicken stock. The portions were not bad, but poor quality. I ordered the queso dip, $3.50 for a cup of velveeta and cream of chicken soup. The chips were oily and the salsa tasted like ketchup. I ordered some fresh jalepenos to spice up the ketchup dip, and they brought me sliced jalepenos like you buy from wal-mart in a jar-for $1.50 extra on my ticket.Paying was another poor experience, as the manager who was ringing up tickets wouldn't even say hello after 2 attempts to make conversation, and their credit card machine wasn't working so he had to write down my visa info.I wouldn't recommend this resturant for my dogs.

The food is terrific! The chips and salsa is great. The Queso(cheese) sauce is the best! The service is very friendly, quick, and efficient. This is our family's favorite Mexican restaurant.

Food wasn't good but the one good thing is that they are fast at giving you your food and drinks.
