Mcalister's Deli - Alexandria

This place served us a delicious lunch. It was fairly quick, and the potato salad was fresh with no mustard taste. The pics below are of the French Dip and The Italian sandwhich. This is definitely going to be a regular eating spot. I love the healthy choices of baked potatoes and salads. Service was also very professional.

The food was good EXCEPT- they didn 't get it correct. It was a pick up order and I was quite specific on the requests as is shown on the receipt. They still managed to out mayonnaise on BOTH sandwiches even though it was stated no mayo on the order when placed, and they did not put the spinach on the second sandwich. Should we have checked the food at pickup? Probably. But it 's a pick up order and if they prepared the food correctly- which as a consumer you always give company the benefit of the doubt that they prepared requested product as very clearly requested- one shouldn 't need to check their order at pick up. Not likely to order pick up again.

Awesome experience. Great food. The New Yorker with Pastrami and Corned Beef on Rye is the best. I don't know where they get that Gant Potato from, but it was delicious.

Loved everything about my trip here. Food is fresh and delicious, the staff are extra friendly and quick to get the food to your table. Oh yeah, they have dine in as well!

I got the Chipotle Chicken and Bacon Spud and it was delicious but very filling so I only ate half and took the other half home. Great service plenty of room to sit around lunch time.
